Homeless Should Not Mean Hopeless

The Samaritan Inn is Collin County’s only homeless shelter for adults and families in desperate need. Since 1984, it has served more than 20,000 people. Unlike typical shelters, it is more than just a place to spend the night. It’s a comprehensive homeless program that helps people return to dignity and independence.

On a typical night, The Samaritan Inn serves 160 people, 60 of which are children. All services are free, including professional caseworkers, licensed mental health counselors, job training, computer and financial literacy classes, meals, laundry and more! Sadly, homelessness is growing. In 2014, thousands of people were turned away because of lack of space. The Inn is currently building a new state-of-the-art family shelter that will serve 50 families.

Your Donations support the lifesaving mission of The Samaritan Inn and their goal of building a new family shelter in order to get people and families off the streets. Be a local hero!
